「H」：メンバーが見るリーダー

はい、みんな！リーダーファンの為に少し「H」の英訳をして見る。

これは、メンバーがどう智君を見てるのか、分かっちゃうコメントだから、お楽しみ！

People!! For the sake of Leader fans, I am attempting to translate what other members think of our Leader (which was in Feb issue of H) here for you ne. Please note that this is just my translation and I am not using the dictionary coz no time, so may not be fully correct (I hope it's at least 90% right).

[How does each Arashi member see Leader?]


(1) Among all Leader's works, which is your favourite?

Kazu: Speed Star. That ending made a great impact on me.
Masaki: SengokuPOO, he did very well in the fighting parts, and I like the contents too. I love action works since very young.
Sho: Playzone's [New Generation - Emotion]. He hardly uttered any words but the way his emotions flow was conveyed to us very well.
Jun: SengokuPOO. I love the way his body moved and his way of expressing it.

(2) What is Leader's attraction as an actor?

Kazu: He is talented.
Masaki: His atomosphere? The aura gap between him and his role is very great. When he is acting, he has got this aura which you can't see normally or during variety programs.
Sho: He uses his feelings and his sense to convey something to you.
Jun: He is great at sports. He knows his own body well.

(3) If you are a director, what kind of work and what role will you put Leader in?

Kazu: I think we should give him the role of a woman.
Masaki: Supporting role, something that is hard-boiled. I think he will look really great and kakkoii in such roles.
Sho: A very popular guy. Kakkoii guy.
Jun: An animal role. Lion King??? (hahaha)

(4) Please tell us what is Leader's CHARM point and WEAK point.

Kazu: He is good at anything he does. But it is difficult for him to stay to his promise.
Masaki: He makes his mom buy clothes for him even though he is already 26... I think this is his charm point. Cute right?
Sho: He is so undecorative (what you see is what you get) that he makes you worry for him! He is also very strict about himself so sometimes you see him being depressed alone.
Jun: Gentle and lenient (lax). This is both charm and weak point.

(5) What is the envious thing about Leader that only he has and you don't?

Kazu: Popularity ne.
Masaki: He usually says ONE phrase when the situation is very pressurizing/rough, but that phrase is simply genius. Even if it is something really normal but once Leader says it, that becomes so interesting!
Sho: Totally right-brained type. He was fantastic when we had this workshop long ago about training to become an animal. (right-brained I suppose means using ACTION to say his feelings etc. and good at actions)
Jun: He understands his body size and his own strength very well, and thinks of how to move or go forward within this strength. He can deal with whatever situation, and I find that very fantastic!

(6) What is that one thing that you want Leader to change?

Kazu: I wish he will really do what he promised before the deadline.
Masaki: His hobby is doing clay work and he is so good at it that I have no complaint!! He is really so good that he can take money from you if he wants to sell to you! But whenever he starts putting colours on the clayworks, his fingers/hands become really BLACK and says that it cannot be taken off!! And he went on TV with those black hands!!
Sho: Not that I want him to change but just want to caution him that in the future he MAY be too INTO his hobby to have any strength left for our work. When we were filming Kiiroi Namida, he even brought his clay work to our filming location in Nagoya and spent whole night doing this clay work alone even though he doesn't have time to rest/sleep!
Jun: Sometimes he will keep looking/starring at one point and don't move any more (hmm, this part unclear but I would imagine Jun meant that Leader is a perfectionist and kept going back to one point he found faulty or something). I worry about him for this.

(7) Comparing Leader when he first debut and what he is now, what do you see that has changed most in him?

Kazu: His attitude towards work.
Masaki: Although he is the oldest in Arashi, I feel that he is becoming younger and younger in terms of looks. (Haha don't we ALL agree on this!! Arigato Masaki!!)
Sho: No change at all, totally!
Jun: A little more positive (ha ha).

(8) Using a colour, what colour would you describe Leader as? And why?

Kazu: Various.
Masaki: Foggy green... How is that?? Foggy green....
Sho: Black. Although he never puts his own opinion forward, there is STRENGTH in him. (well said Sho!! Yes yes!)
Jun: Blue. Image of flowing along like water....
