Everyone!! Remember I told you guys that Jun will be on radio J-Wave last night to promote Arashi's TIME? Well, I managed to find ONE Japanese fan who caught this radio show and wrote out what Jun said. It is very short, but let me try to translate what Jun said briefly here:

Ｊ−ＷＡＶＥ 「ＡＳＩＥＮＣＥ　ＳＰＩＲＩＴ　ＯＦ　ＡＳＩＡ」

This is Matsumoto Jun. Hello. Eh, this is my Asian Lounge Column, and I want to talk a little about some Asian places which I specially like, and the experience I had there. I am talking about Taiwan.

Well, I have never been to Taiwan except for work. Eh, I have been to Taiwan and Korea and Thailand, and the stay in Thailand was really very short. Among these 3, Taiwan also happens to be the first Asian country I stopped by at that time, so the impression of Taiwan is the strongest for me.

Eh, well, on Taiwan food, the impression was that whatever food will surely suit the taste Japanese, but especially Xiao Long Bao left a deep impression on me. No matter which restaurant we went, all the Xiao Long Bao were delicious! Just the other day, I ate Xiao Long Bao in Tokyo, but as expected, it is very different from what I ate over in Taiwan. This also reinforces to me again that the Xiao Long Bao in Taiwan is really delicious ne. Yes.

And the Karaoke trip also left a deep impression on me ne. This may not be so for every Karaoke place, but the one that I went to happened to have 2 floors, and the ground floor has this 40 tatami room where you go to, and the karaoke machine is right in the middle. Then there is a toilet on the 2nd floor. This is a surprise because a 2-floor Karaoke place is rare. Moreover, that place not only has a selection of western songs but also Japanese songs with Japanese words. I was also surprised by this.

When I asked Taiwanese there, they told me that they learn/remember Japanese by remembering how the word is written. Seems that the Taiwanese are very eager to learn and I am impressed. I remember I was impressed by this.

Well I have been there really only for work so far, and only been to 3 Asian countries. So if I have a chance, I want to slowly tour Asia ne. Hai.

And, eh, Me Matsumoto Jun belongs to haha Arashi. Sorry but it is my promotion time! Eh, the long-awaited new album from Arashi has been done! Title is TIME. It will be released this Wednesday, 11th July. Eh, the concept of this album this time, well, just as what the title TIME says, we Arashi was formed 8 years ago. And we want to express whatever we can, so that we can give listeners energy/power. It will be great if we can achieve this. We hope that in 2007 we can sing these contemporary songs in a contemporary way. This is our concept.
