それから、もう一つシェイクスピアで「リア王」に井上真央ちゃんがワンマン社長を演じる西田敏行（５９）の娘役だ！！

２８日にアメリカの雑誌に出た和君の特写が、今日日本の記事に出たよ！！！やっと！！和君の演技が素晴らしい、ようなことを書いてくれて、ありがたい！！！

米ロサンゼルス・タイムズ紙が２８日付で、映画「硫黄島からの手紙」でハリウッドデビューした二宮和也（２３）の特集記事を掲載した。

二宮や所属する嵐について紹介、「二宮の表情は完ぺきで、壊れてしまいそうな、まさにイーストウッド監督が伝えたかった戦争の犠牲者の無念さを表している」と絶賛した。当初は別の役でオーディションを受けたが、同監督がほれ込み、物語のカギを握る兵士役に選んだ秘話も紹介されている。アカデミー賞候補入りは逃したが、米国内での二宮の評価は高い。

Well, many of you may have already read some blogs which put up the Kazu Special Feature in LA Times on 28th Jan. Today this was mentioned in Japan and translated for the Japanese.....

In brief, the Americans (editor) feel that Kazu's facial expressions are perfectly done, like something that is going to be broken soon..... This is very well-utilized by Clint Eastwood in trying to express the regret/resentment of those victims in this war.... Seems that Kazu had actually done his audition for ANOTHER role in the movie but because Clint Eastwood has fallen in love with his acting, he was put to take on the KEY role in the movie... Although he did not get nominated in the Academy Award personally, there is high appraisal for him in the USA.

KAZUNARI Ninomiya's face is unblemished, almost fragile, a porcelain slate of innocence onto which director Clint Eastwood projects the emotional toll of war in "Letters From Iwo Jima." Ninomiya plays Saigo, an apolitical baker conscripted into the doomed defense of the island, fighting not for the generals or the emperor but only to survive and return to his wife and infant daughter. Through his eyes we see battle, its cynicism, fear, the hatreds and pity. An unknown actor to American audiences, his face was perfect for Eastwood's Everyman.

"There's a real personality to his acting," says Rieko Miyamoto, the show's director. "He can act with his mouth and his eyes." So Ninomiya was an obvious candidate when Eastwood sent out a casting call to Japanese actors for "Letters From Iwo Jima." In addition to his talent, the studio calculated that Ninomiya's J-pop aura might drag a younger crowd to the box office, a tactic that has paid off to some degree, though Warner Bros. exit figures still show that the bulk of the movie's Japanese audience is in its late 30s to early 50s.

Audition tapes were sent across the Pacific to the late Phyllis Huffman, the casting director who had been a longtime Eastwood collaborator. Johnny's had another of its stars in mind for the Saigo role and Ninomiya was originally cast as Private Shimizu, the idealistic military policeman sent to Iwo Jima as punishment for showing mercy toward civilians. But Eastwood had not settled on his Saigo, and the director asked Ninomiya to read again for that part.

６年ぶりのドラマ主演だね！！！本当に長かったね・・・・日テレのプロデューサによると、潤君を起用する理由は：

仕事に真摯に取り組む姿勢、本人の持つ男っぽさは主人公にピッタリ

「料理はたまにしますが、全然上手くないので、イタリアンを今から猛特訓しなくては…。イタリア語は全く１からなので、さらに苦労するかもしれません。知っている単語は『ナカータ（中田英寿）』くらい（笑）」

「主人公と僕はちょうど同世代。体力的に大変かもしれないけど、すごくワクワクしています。主人公と一緒に、僕自身ももがきながら成長し、熱いドラマを届けたい」

Minna!!! We have news reports on Jun and his new drama ne!! It's the first time after 6 years that Jun is starring in a leading role for drama (last one was Kindaichi) yo!!!

Seems that NTV's producer of this drama mentioned the reason WHY Jun was chosen for this role:

He is very sincere and honest in his work, and he possesses a "male" quality that is just like the protaganist in this manga.

And Jun's own comments about this:

I do cook once in a while but not good at it. From now I also need to start a crash course on Italian (he needs to speak this in the drama).... Italian I really have to learn from scratch so it is really quite tough... the only word I know is Na-Ka-Ta (the Japanese soccer player) Ha ha....

The protagonist guy belongs to the same generation as me. This may be testing on my stamina, but I feel very excited about doing the role. I will grow together with the protagonist too, and will present a warm drama for everyone!

Nowadays everyone says that the younger generation always give up and throw in their towels once they encounter trouble/problem. But this protagonist always look forward and move on, I feel that he is very attractive!

YES YES Jun!!! You are also CHOOOOOH attractive yo!! We are all looking forward to watching you every week again for another 3 months after HYD2!! YATTA!!!

昨日のまご、末っ子ズなんだけど、「まずい」って言われたんだけど、一つだけ可愛いことがあったみたいぞ！

（２）そして、それに「はい」って返事する、画面に映らない潤君の声！

Just found out that there was this LITTLE episode in Mago yesterday between our 2 youngest ones.... Sounds really cute yo!!

Kazu kept telling Jun every thing he found in the fridge!! Saying [Jun kuuuuuuun!] SO CUTE!!! Arrrrgh!!! Yappari only our Kazu calls him JUN kun ne!!! So NICE......

And in reply, our Jun Kuuuuuun kept saying [Hai] to Kazu!!

和君、（広島の）中国新聞に特集記事として載ってたぞ！！見て見て！「拝啓」ドラマに関する和君の演技力等、インタビューもあった。この中国新聞っていうのは、一般ニュースの新聞なのに、芸能新聞としてこんなに大きい記事を載るのは、すごいことみたいよ！

We have Kazu on one of Hiroshima's daily newspaper called Chinese Newspaper today!! The impressive thing about this is that this newspaper is like a normal daily newspaper for the Hiroshima people (like Mainichi Shinbun or Asahi Shinbun in Tokyo). In today's daily, this newspaper dedicated a large special feature for Kazu and his drama Haikei yo!!! This is very RARE coz entertainment news rarely makes it that big in a serious daily newspaper like this!!

Kazu, you are great amazing ne!

はい、みんな！今日は、ウタワラの最後だ！！！

んで、潤君の最後の挨拶、感動だったみたいよ・・・ファンによると！

Today is Utawara's last time on TV.... We have Jun saying his farewell at the last part, and many Jun-focus moments...

Jun's last speech seemed quite touching, according to fans!! Sigh.....

There were also lots of looking back at interesting moments of the program, including our Arashi appearance yo!!!

One of the interesting moments was when photos of the regulars when they were very young were shown and everyone had to guess who is who... Jun's one was.... VERY OBVIOUS!! Ha ha.... must watch this for myself how obvious it is ne! Seems Jun was sitting on a sofa and his AURA was like, Doumyouji!!! PS. Seems Kazu's photo was also out!!

There was also one part when he sang with Kame (Kattun), both of them looked at each other and shook hands.... That part lots of fans teared ne.....

Jun, thank you for the 1 year 10 months on this program!!

見たことが無い玉木宏

やった！！

今日色々な玉木さんの写真を見つかり、超嬉しい！！！少し見せてみるね・・・・見たことの無い写真が面白いぞ！

拝啓、父上様

うん、私は、あまり和君のドラマに触れてないんだけど、ちゃんと見てるからね！！笑。とりあえず２話まで見てて、感想は一応書いて見ようかと思って・・・・

これは、あくまでも個人的な意見でね、皆さんと意見交換でもしよう！

（１）和君、本当にやり過ぎないように、淡々と演じてるのは、とっても好き。
（２）こんなにベテランの俳優さんたちと同じシーンで演じても、和君が一番目立つっていうのは不思議（だって、あまりしゃべらないんだもん）。
（３）ストーリがスローだけど、ちょっと人間関係が面白いっていうか、見所だよね。
（４）ヨコは、結構自然でビックリ。
（５）梅宮さんが表情無さ過ぎる。
（６）雪乃ちゃん、綺麗だね・・・・だから和君は”惚れた”んじゃない？笑。
（７）やっぱり和君、板前の役って最高！！だって、お料理ができる男って格好良い！でしょう？？？

はい、とりあえず以上です。これからも見るから、また書くね。

Wanted to say something about Haikei Chichiue Sama...... Although I don't talk much about this here, doesn't mean that I don't watch the drama ne!! I do catch it, and although I've only watched till episode 2, thought maybe I should give my brief comment as follows:

(NOTE: this is just personal comment, any other opinion is of course welcome yo!)

(1) Kazu acts in a very blend, non-excited, non-purposeful manner, which I thought was really good! He doesn't OVER-ACT, in other words!
(2) Even among so many veteran actors/actresses acting in the same scene YET Kazu still stands out, is amazing I thought! I mean, Kazu doesn't even talk much!
(3) Story is certainly SLOW, but the human relationship is what to look out for.
(4) Surprised at how natural Yokoyama Yuu is.
(5) Umemiya-san has too little facial expression! (the chief cook)
(6) Yukino-chan (Kazu's mom) is pretty ne... No wonder our Kazu has "fallen" for her ne.... (ha ha in his nikki he mentioned that he loves the scenes with his mom)
(7) Kazu is really good in the role as a Japanese cook!! I mean, a guy who can cook, Kakkoii desho????!!!!

[We went for kids dinner...] said Jun totally not excited.
[Both our food was told NOT delicious... Sorry.... somehow...] said Kazu totally not excited too.

Then the 5 of them talked about episodes recently they encountered where they thought [Oh no! I've done it!].

Aiba chan: I went Karaoke with Leader, together with TOKIO's Matsuoka (Mabo) right? At that time this guy did it yo!! (meaning Leader) Mabo was saying [OK, I will song next ne] and started singing [HanaUta]..... When he started on this song, Leader said [Matsu-ni, who's song is this?]. This is a TOKIO song yo. I thought [Aaaaaah no......] and wanted to try covering for Leader but Mabo came to ME and told me [you better teach him yo!!] before giving me a HIGH KICK! Sho: All the guys (JE guys) went to a small udon place after going to pray in the shrines (during New Year). Each group ordered their menu and this makes it a lot of order but in the midst of this some guys in NewS and K8 got called away and had to leave. Although the orders are still placed not canceled. When the waitress came and asked who ordered Tsukimi Udon, no one replied. Again she asked. So I said [Oh, the person has gone back isn't it?]. THEN, Mori Mitsuko (the old lady closed to JE) suddenly said [It's mine]. And this fella (pointing at Aiba chan) was kekekeke laughing away....

(still laughing hard, Aiba chan chipped in)

Aiba chan: This guy has done it, I thought!! So facing the other way and looking down, I used my arm to poked at Sho and mumbled to him YOU DID IT!!

That's about all the talk..... Last part was a short promo on Kazu's Haikei drama.....

（２）松本潤と云う人が今までにきっと演じた事の無い熱い男です。
（３）熱いし、真っ直ぐだし、ちょっとバカだし。
（４）でもだからこそ輝いてる。そんな半人前だけどカッコイイ！
（５）同じ『戦場』の人間達に磨かれる姿がとてもリアルで痛々しくて。
（６）けれど負けない『バンビーナ（坊ちゃん）』なのです。

Ok more information about Jun's new drama role:

(1) Very genki Kyushu boy!
(2) A PASSIONATE role that Jun has NEVER played before.
(3) Passionate, straight-forward/direct, and a bit BAKA.
(4) But that is why this boy SHINES, very kakkoii!
(5) He gets "polished" at his training place in the restaurant a lot and sometimes very painful.
(6) BUT, he is a Banbino (small boy) who never admits DEFEAT!

Wow see?? I knew it!! Jun always picks roles that he has not done before!!! Like Momo in KWP, Kouji in Tokyo Tower, Doumyouji in HYD etc!!

Way to go Jun!!! We all look forward to another different performance from you yo!!

Yesterday's at Aiba chan radio Arashi Recommend Remix, we have KuroP saying goodbye on the radio AND his comments on Arashi (being their manager for 4 years). I want to translate this so that all of you know how Arashi is viewed by their manager, and what kind of guys they are.

KuroP: There are 5 of you, but everyone is different in his characteristic. Great! Everyone of them is a good guy too. I enjoyed myself, these 4 years!

Aiba chan: (very gently) Hmm, hmm.(only Aiba chan can make such gentle noise ne) 4 years is very long ne?

KuroP: Long. But it seemed very short when I think about it now.

Aiba chan: Ya, but really very fun na....

KuroP: My transfer was just announced, and I went to the concert in the beginning of the year ne... Really, it was the first time I saw an entire Arashi concert.

Aiba chan: Hmm.... Was it interesting? (again very soft and gentle voice)

KuroP: Interesting, everyone on you was shinning!!

Aiba chan: You say some very good thing ne, at this final stage.

KuroP: Great yo, very good ne! And I was watching from the front of the arena and right behind so very straight view!

(Aiba chan was all the time voicing his agreement, hmm, hmm)

KuroP: Then, where was it ne.... Oh it was the last medley part, I cried a little yo.

Aiba chan: Well, there must have been a lot of memeory ne, the period of 4 years.

KuroP: Hmm, and the best part was, Pika*nchi Double ne.

Aiba chan: Was that good?

KuroP: Good.

Aiba chan: The lyrics are good right? Shines very brightly ne.

KuroP: Yes, something like "at that time, at that place, can we ever meet again".....

Aiba chan: Hmm, hmmm, that's true ne.

KuroP: At that part it really kinda hit me.


Well we can see how KuroP loves our guys ne..... I guess we must give the manager lots of credit for making Arashi what they are NOW.... It's an accumulation of work ne, not just one or two things, which can bring a group far..... THANK YOU KUROP!!! All the best for your new posting!!

今日のまごまご：晩ご飯、美味しくなかった？

なんか、今日は末っ子ズの晩ご飯なんだけど、二人は嵐の中でも料理がうまいメンバーだけど、子供達、全然美味しくなかったみたい・・・

暗い・・・笑。


まあ、ヘルシー料理だからか〜？特に和君の料理、なんと子供達が美味しくないって顔・・・

可愛そうな潤君と和君だあああ！

Ha ha today's Mago we have our 2 youngest ones cooking HEALTHY food for the kids....

SADLY, the entire atmosphere was quite "dark" coz the kids didn't appreciate their cooking and thought the food was not delicious!!! Oh dear...... Poor Jun and Kazu!!!
